Fixes and Enhancements List (version history)
A number of enhancements have been made available in and earlier updates and are detailed below.
Version 1.5 [build 1446] 11th May 2006
- Introducing MyVirtualHome Online!
MyVirtualHome Online debuts in v1.5. Here you will be presented with information about product updates and new releases of manufacturer objects and materials. More exciting features such as online tutorials will become available as this area expands.
- Dramatic Expansion of Hardware Support
MyVirtualHome now runs on a much wider variety of hardware including computers with significantly lower specifications. It also now runs in software rendering mode if no dedicated graphics hardware is found.
- Support for Lower Screen Resolutions
The software now supports resolutions lower than 1024x768 correctly. The 800x600 and 640x480 resolutions are now supported by default and scale the user interface appropriately. Some users will experience performance benefits by selecting these resolutions.
- Dynamic Performance Adjustment
MyVirtualHome adjusts visual quality to achieve useable performance while running. If the camera is not moved, quality is progressively restored.
- Performance Improvements
In addition to the above dynamic adjustment, some dramatic performance improvements have been made, particularly in the top-down Plan View camera mode.
- Standard HomeShare Save Slots
HomeShare save slots now behave in the same way as local save slots. That is, there is no longer any need to save locally and then push up to a HomeShare slot - just save or load homes to or from these slots as normal.

Compatibility test logic has been improved and the user interface changed to make this tool easier to use.
- Numerous Usability Features, including:
